Samhain (“sow-win”) is a time when we honor the final harvest of the year, honor the wisdom of our ancestors, and give thanks to the earth for having held & sown our seeds to fruition, and preparing the earth & its soil to rest through the winter.

Just as the earth releases old energies to rest for the winter, our souls do the same; they need to release and prepare for rest through the winter, becoming reborn and strong enough for us to hold new seeds in the spring & grow rooted into the summer.
